Alstromeria ‘Indian Summer’

Alstromeria are exotic looking flowers that will flower continuously from June through to November. These hardy herbaceous perennial plants are sometimes known as Peruvian Lillies.

‘Indian Summer’ is an Alstromeria cultivar with silvery black leaves that contrast well against the bright yellows and oranges of the flowers. Even the flower buds have ornamental value as they are a glossy deep red colour for several days before blooming. It can reach 75cm so benefits from being supported early in the growing season.

Once your Alstromeria has formed a large enough clump you can propagate more plants by division in early spring.
